We are a vital health care team that make up the detectives of the lab. We uncover and provide information for laboratory analysis that assists physicians in patient diagnosis and treatment, as well as in monitoring disease or prevention. In addition to performing and evaluating laboratory procedures, the medical laboratory scientists may also be involved in developing new diagnostic procedures, think of COVID. Supervising and conducting medical research, providing technical expertise, consulting, teaching, and/or analyzing and implementing laboratory Information Systems.
